Reprieve and christmas.

A reprieve has occurred. I have an extension on the osteology which is good. Means I can breath a little before I get it done.

I still have to get it done soon though, on top of Christmas, enrolling, writing and submitting my thesis proposal and heading off to Tassie. I won't have time until February. Way after it's actually due. So yeah.

Just online checking financials and emails before going off to Marion for final Tassie and Christmas shopping. I need some slouch around jumpers so I'll not freeze in Pt Arthur in the evenings, and nothing so fancy because they'll get dirty on field.

Nearly have my kit organised. Just a few more things to place in the personal first aide kit, neurphen, herron, betadine and non-elastaplast band-aides that the kit came with (I'm allergic to the adhesive). And I'll have to get Aaron to find my mirofibre towel, which is probably put away from the last time we went camping...

I don't know whether I'll be able to keep the blog up to date in tassie, didn't ask if there was a net cafe nearby. We'll see i guess. Anyway. Off now for shopping madness in the Christmas frenzied shopping centre at Marion.... God speed child!

It's called the silly season for a reason.... you go nuts!

I know, I'm hopeless at keeping up a blog.

For my defense though, I have been busy. i had two intensive uni courses in a row, then three assignments due for them. In the mean time I have to organise all of my chrismass things as I'm flying to Broken Hill on the 19th to spend it with my olds, and straight after that I'm off to port Aruthur for the three week dig, so I have to be organised for that as well as I won't have any time to get the things I may need in the three days over new years.

Today I'm having a break day then I'm off tomorrow to last minute catch ups, shopping, toilteries for both trips etc, then tea at mum in laws. Thursday I'm at marion all day getting the clothes I'll need in tassies brisk summer weather as well as payamas as I have none and will be sleeping in a dorm environment. Then at the Grandparennts in law that night for chrissmas things. Finally friday pack, double check then fly out.

The main issue is that there is nothing really in Broken Hill to get all this stuff, and so I won't. Well, can't. And now I'm trying to figure out how and if i'm going to be able to get my masters proposal done in Broken Hill so I don't have to do it while I'm on a dig.

Sigh! I'll try and let you knwo how I go in a timley manner =)
