It's the usual Monday 'this-is-what-I-did-on-the-weekend' update.

Friday nite, stayed at Carls which was a nice change from being here and the ever invasive presence of WoWC.

Saturday we headed to Marion (for something a bit different to going into town) and it was just as bad as I though... People everywhere! But I stocked up on munchies for Carls place (so I don't eat all their noodles when I'm there) and bought a pair of black and red stripy tights that go ALL the way up my leg. They're like stockings, but with no crotch bit. I love them, and want to wear them and show em off... But it's too cold to lately :(

Saturday night was pretty good as well. We got the bus into town as usual and one of Carl's friends were on it, surrounded by aberfoyl park "punk/grunge/trendy" TRASH! So calm as anything I stomped up to them in my clicky boots with a big grin on my face and I got a few worried looks before I plonked myself down next to him and started chatting away. It was funny.... BECAUSE THEY NEW I WAS BETTER! HA!
Anyway, rather than the usual Cranka Carl wanted to take me to this place called Supermild, which was really good! I liked the atmosphere, the music, the lighting, the comfy chair with the pillow on it... Even though it was full. The only bad bit was this big assess girl who kept dancing with her friends and kept nearly banging into me. It wouldn't have been too bad, but they were all crap dancers, and her style was very reminiscent of a 60/70's Go-Go dancer!
We went next door to Elysium which was okish, but full of rude drunk assholes and other assorted "we're so much better than thou" trendies *Grrrr* so we didn't stay long.
Next we wandered down Hinley street wandering what to do next, when we saw that Isobar was near empty, so after a few tentative steps inside to see if we would get glared at (we didn't), we went to the bar and enjoyed a few drinks (They have awesome glasses!). The best part of being there was that the club is engineered for sex. Couches and square foam block thingies everywhere, the 'vault' which looks like one of those orgy rooms you seen in films, and upstairs near the toilet is 'makeout corner central! I must admit I was drawn to the place. We entertained ourselves gauging how badly the girls hovering around the pool table were out for sex. Quite funny actually, but I think it's a 'you had to be there' thing.
After a quick stop off at Hungry Jacks I took Carl to Fumo Blu as he has never been in there before, and it actually wasn't as packed as I thought it would be. He liked the fishtank, and a funny bartender, and proceeded to get pissed on double gin and tonics... :s We left to get some food, and I managed to coerce him not to go to the Cranka anyway (otherwise we'd be out till the sun was coming up) then caught a cab home. San Giorgios garlic bread rocks (if you can stand the contempt).
Sunday was lazy, we headed to the bay and got pasta, had a disappointing and brief experience at Marion then watched Billy Connelly and Robocop. Very cool chillout.
Now it's my busy week and I'm off to a fantastic start NOT. *sigh* I'm just not made for this.

Ok, I put a post up on the confessional and hardly anyone has got back to me... slackers.

So I'll put it out there on a place where I know more of you look.

It's mine and Carls joint birthday coming up on the 29th (thats a Friday) and I'm looking for a place where people will all be comfortable.
to keep in mind:
Some of my friends don't like the Cranka.
Some (most) of Carl's friends don't like mansions.
I hate church period, and heaven on the weekends with a passion.

the only suggestion that has flown so far is the Bar on Gouger... But we can't stay there all night.
PLEASE GIVE ME SUGGESTIONS OR YOU'LL ALL MISS OUT! And I would like to celebrate with my friends...

A week into holidays and the total time I've worked on my thesis research is one hour. Go. Me. That is just messed up seriously!

I've been too busy working on overdue assignments and yesterday I spent the day being social even though I tried to get work done. Don't get me wrong, yesterday was one of the greatest days I've had in a long time... I just really have to get stuck into it really. And next week won't be any better. Here's my schedule:
Monday: mostly free but will be cleaning the flat and picking up my grad gown.
Tuesday: Parents fly in, we meet up, I go to my graduation, hang with folks, see them off, hand gown back.
Wed: Mostly free, but have a counselor's appointment for which I haven't done any of the exercises she asked me to do.
Thurs: Meet Carl for coffee taking a total of 4 hours out of my day (that I want to take).
Fri: Free.
Tell me when I'm supposed to get my research done in there??

Hoping everyone else is enjoying their holidays.

YAY!!! I'm online again.

Chris FINALLY fixed the interweb and has been steadily glued to World of Warcraft ever since *cough* GEEK *cough*.
But anyway, I can finally write on Blogger again... Not that it matters for the amount of people who read these things. You know it's nice to know that some of my geek friends really care so little *smiles sweetly*.

Anyway, what have I been up to in the internet absence...

Not much. Went to Ve's party - was AWESOME
and.... That's it.

I've been trying to study my butt off to get on top of all my work and I'm trying to nuckle down on getting my Thesis started... But it's harder than I thought it would be...
I'm behind and not coping really well so... What can you do?

You know... It's been nearly a year since I started this blog, originally as a count-down to my 21st, but now it's only a week till my graduation and 2 and a bit weeks till my 22nd. So WOW huh???

I think that's really all to catch up on unless I want to start bitching about things which wouldn't be a good idea...

I get my doc martins off layby on Wednesday...
