Ok, today was messed up.

I had a presentation which I have been a bit stressed about and due to my glasses taking so long to come through meant that I couldn't start my work till late. Anyway, I spent most of the day yesterday and most of this morning in the bookshop cafe doing my readings and trying to figure out how I was going do my presentation. But, for some reason the water mains had burst under the building my lecture was in and so that, as well as the student centre and the library so all these buildings were closed. Also, all the computers on campus were down so I couldn't even check to see if the seminar had been changed...
I couldn't believe it... it really sucked.

So I went for some retail therapy. But even that didn't really help as I couldn't find anything that I liked. So for shits and giggles I went into Toys R Us... I'm not kidding, my childhood is coming back to haunt me. All these toys that I used to have when I was younger are all coming back-revamped. It's scary!!!
Here's a list:
Polly pocket - new homes and bigger
Carebears - I'm sure they're trying to slip new characters in there.
Strawberry Shortcake - Now with a modern 'chick' look.
My Little Pony - No where near as well made as the older ones.
Not to mention Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Masters of the Universe and Transformers for boys.
And then, today I saw:
Sky Dancers - Fairy like dolls you can launch in the air.
Doodle bears - bears that you can draw on, wash then draw in again.
and (my personal favourite) Littlest pet shop.

What is happening???? I'm very scared.
