Hi all.

Felling a little better today, but still not 100%. Thank you to Troy, Nat, James, Tim, Khun, Christopher, Jude and Dave for their get well soons. And special thanks to Carl for being a darling and a half for looking after me all weekend.

Kindermancy was fairly cool. I took Codrol and drank coke (which may or maynot have included Malibu) all night. Chalice and Ikon rocked! The other band was... Not to my taste (gimmicky glam goth rock) and actually a little creepy, but they did have an interesting use of voice distortion...
Anyway. Saw a few people I knew not regulars ie: Tims lil sis and my flatmates younger brother! I was not expecting him to be there, but we had a good chat and it made the night differently enjoyable.
We ended up leaving around 2am, but that was pretty regular considering the night actually started around 7:30 instead of 10 like usual.
The bad part was that Tain rocked up at some time YAY! I don't think that he saw me or even recognise me ( as I now have purple hair) but I saw him, and I was not impressed. What made it even worse was that I didn't get to see him being *ahem* escorted out by the bouncer. Darn!

Other than that, I haven't been up to much really. How boring of me. But I hope you all had a good Easter and enjoyed your long weekend. I'll see you all next time

Hi all. I know the last few posts have been a bit squewif, that's because they were a spur of the moment type thing.

Ok, to catch up.
Metal chicks turned out to be cancelled last night which I found out AFTER I got to the cranka. So I apologies to James and Nat, Tim and Khun (I'm sorry if I didn't spell it right) for dragging you all out there.
but in the end I didn't have a bad night. Got to see many people knew (props for your props Christopher) and after a drink at the Cranker (C.C n coke - give u the reason in a min) Me, Tim and (sorry) Khun headed to Fumo Blue for another drink. Basically it was a chilled out evening where I got to see many cool friends, thank you.

As for the reason I was drinking CC and not my usual Malibu (or NINJAS!!!!) was that at around 3:30 that afternoon I started to get sick and I still have the coming on of a cold. Whisky will kill it, and it did help. So now I'm sitting rugged up on the couch drinking my vege soup feeling like shite having not much to do.... Except avoid assignments =).

Have a good Easter all. Immerse yourself in the way consumerism has once again conquered a pretty good idea and sold it out.

Here is my week so far for all those who might be interested.

Monday: Pretty much a write off now, but early night to do an assignment early tomorrow.
Tuesday: Early day to get a book I thought I had and need to ready by tomorrow arvo, then a 'lecture' on roman pottery (which i need to have read the book for) and a beer at the Cranka afterwards. (Just after 4 if anyone wants to join us).
Wednesday: FREE (except for study and doing a 4000 word paper)
Thursday: Coffee with Carl in the morning, a bit more cramming study, then metalchicks in the evening with some friends at the Cranka (Looking forward to that). Oh, and handing in my 4000 word paper.
Friday: Don't know yet... Too far away.
Saturday: daytime- probably shopping. Evening- NECROMANCY!!!!

Ok. It's Monday. Nuff said.

I only got home at 10:30 this morning, but the weekend was kinda cool. But first...
My presentation went ok... I think. Well at least is over and done with so now I have to worry about all the other assignments I have ie: a critique of a book I haven't read due tomorrow and a 4000 word paper due on Thursday. EEEK! I can do this, I CAN do this... Can't I?

Oh, I dyed my hair on Friday night... It's PURPLE!!!! I'll put a photo up when I get one... And figure out how to =s But it looks wikked! I really like it.
Saturday was pretty regular. Hung out with Carl and wandered through town where he got two shirts off layby (they are really cool, quite spiffy), then we went to the Cranka where he showed off his new New Rock boots, which he finally got!!! But it was kinda crappy as the Clipsal 500 brought all the derros into town and they were not cool but we did get to see some people we haven't seen for ages.
Then we parted ways to get ready for the night and met up back at the Cranka for a last Hurrah as Carl has decided to quite smoking the next day and wanted to live it up. It was fun cause there were so many people there that we knew and it was just crazy. Carl got really drunk and I made only a mild effort of following suit.

Next day we helped some friends pack to move... But they're moving from Moonta to here (Adelaide) that's a 4 hour trip both ways not including rest stops. That was fun as Carl was hung over and grumpy from getting used to the patch, but I like driving around so I enjoyed myself.
By the end of the day Carl was in much better spirits I'm so proud of him.

Now it's Monday and the week has begun again and it sucks. I'm trapped in my old routine (i.e - the place is a mess and I don't want to be here and I'm broke because my flatmate forgot to pay his half of the rent (again)).

Days of non-smoking: 1

Went to Timewarp last night for Tim's 21st. Was very much loads of fun as it has been quite a long time since I have gone to timewarp let alone heaven. They've re-vamped it and now play man other very interesting and very funky tunes along with the oldies-but-goodies.

Was not as much fun as it could have been for a number of factors (mainly I didn't know everyone there, and those I did know... Well, lets just say their intentions were different to mine), but I still managed to dance my hinee off and eventually got home at around 3 in the morning (Ta Ve). Pretty good considering I had to be up at 10 to meet Carl for coffee.

Did that today, and as usual was a lot of fun despite feeling somewhere between 40 and 60 years old (payback for my strenuous efforts last night), with aching joints, knees that didn't want to work properly and a sore lower back. But I got hugs so YAY!.

As for the rest of my week, well...
Weekend: Watched DVD's at Carl's and generally bumbed around.
Monday: (went to uni to get books and do some readings)
Tuesday: Woke up feeling the lowest I have in a long time, but felt better by the time I had my lecture and so went to the Cranka with Jarrah for $3 pints.
Wed: Day=counselors appointment (just DON'T ask)
Night= duh, timewarp!

The rest of my week is pretty dull. I have a presentation due tomorrow (the one that was due last week), then its the weekend, so I'll do what I usually do - Hang with Carl... Although he is going to quit smoking this weekend and so we'll see how that goes shall we?

*Sarcastic yay* I have a dentist appointment to get to now... I'll see you later.

Ok, today was messed up.

I had a presentation which I have been a bit stressed about and due to my glasses taking so long to come through meant that I couldn't start my work till late. Anyway, I spent most of the day yesterday and most of this morning in the bookshop cafe doing my readings and trying to figure out how I was going do my presentation. But, for some reason the water mains had burst under the building my lecture was in and so that, as well as the student centre and the library so all these buildings were closed. Also, all the computers on campus were down so I couldn't even check to see if the seminar had been changed...
I couldn't believe it... it really sucked.

So I went for some retail therapy. But even that didn't really help as I couldn't find anything that I liked. So for shits and giggles I went into Toys R Us... I'm not kidding, my childhood is coming back to haunt me. All these toys that I used to have when I was younger are all coming back-revamped. It's scary!!!

Hmm... It seemed that that last post screwed my template up a bit... Bear (that word feels wrong for some reason...) with me, and it... Hopefully is should get better eventually...

I feel crappy... My day has been busy and the weekend has been about the same. Today I had a counellor appointment which sucked, and had to get an x-ray on my teeth which I made an appointment for... But they forgot to enter it into their computer! It was weird... Large machine running around my head while I bit into a bit of plastic, and the guy hid behind a screen...

Weekend was busy... Saw lots of stuff I wanted to buy, but can't afford to. Went to Cranka because Chris was sick, so he didn't go out, so I didn't get the house to myself. Saw Tain there, and he talked to me... And is enjoying all the freedoms I want in my life and is not miserable like he's supposed to be...
It was quite sucky...

Went to a BBQ at some of Carl's friends house on Sunday... Which I ended up cooking half of it, twas very strange. Then stayed at Carls and watched DVD's and had fried food goodness (large spring rolls rock! Especially with chicken salt).

Oh, and I got my glasses today... FINALLY!!!

Good morning all... God I'm sore!!!

I went to the PornLand party at the Tav last night. Basically pornland were playing their 3rd last gig and the theme was, well... PORN!
Chris dressed as a pimp with a black velvet suit and a bright pink paisly shirt underneath, a large hat with a feather in it, pleantly of bling bling and a cane. I was all in leather ( skirt, halterneck, boots n fishnets) with my whip that Tim gave me... And it came in very handy!
Also there was 2 Austin Powers! (one of them was our friend) a school boy, quite a few nurses, more than enough pool cleaners, and many boys who had no shirt for some reason. =S
PornLand were great!!! Fantastic band who had a very funky retero style and were even cooler to talk to ( as we did after the show... They changes from their costumes and danced on the dance floor). I gotta look for their CD around...
After we all went to subway and jarred's friend Sky rocks!!! Chris doesn't rock so much... Be broke my bag and burnt a bloody big hole in it... Now I need another one (darn =)) so I'm getting a Jack Skellington one (ya know, Nightmare Before Christmas).

But as a result of drinking most of the night and dancing non stop for over an hour... I woke up this morning sore as hell and with a headache. I'm just so glas that it's cool and overcast today. The thing is, I do actually have a lecture today... But it's not till this afternoon. But I do have a dentist appointment today at 11:40, so I had to get up early =(

Anyway, my glasses won't be in till Monday (YOU SUCK!!!) so I'm screwed.
Hmm... Breakfast!

My Glasses are not in. I came to flinders TWO days after they said that they'd be in and they're not in. I am getting headaches because of it and that on top of my trouble sleeping is not helping me feel any less cranky during the day.
I have to come in tomorrow and collect them because some idiot forgot to order my lense even though I have a lecture on Friday for which I need the readings done for and I can't study at home... I find it hard to focus.
GRRR! I'm going to be behind from my first week of honours because of some dick, fantastic. Great way to be responsible beck.

Anyway, I'm going to get some sleeping tablets to see if that will help my crappy sleeping patterns even though the doctor didn't actually seem to care if I had a problem or not, she asked the usual questions then gave me a week long prescription for sleeping tablets. *sigh* as if they'll really do any good. It's my environment that's the problem, but I made an appointment to see a councilor to help on that side...

Gosh I am really making an effort. I hate seeing councilors... Maybe there's more wrong with me than I first thought...

Ok, This week has so far been kinda sucky.

The weekend was pretty quiet. I stayed at Carl's Friday night and so we didn't really spend a lot of time in town doing anything, just bought the stuff we really wanted to chase up and then headed back to mine for a shower and just general hanging out... In the end we didn't even end up heading into town like we usually do.

Anyway, we did cab it back to Carl's at around 3ish (even though we called the taxi at around 2 Grrr...) and settled in for a quiet nite, went to sleep pretty much straight away...
I always seemed so drained lately... I have no energy at all, maybe I'll go see the doctor about it...

Sunday was the same, into town eventually a few extra errands then to the Cranka for a drink, but it's different on Sundays. Tea at Boungornios then we split up to take public transport back to our separate houses.
We did find an interesting place tho... The Cavern is located North Terrace side of the railway link from Hinely street. A cool place, I recommend it.

Anyway, this week has so far consisted of me going to Adelaide uni to apply for a scholarship and trying to find books I need for an assignment (already) then lunch (subway ran out of BREAD!!!!) then off to Flinders uni to pick up my glasses... Not there... GREAT. So I had a schooner of pale only to find out that it was pints for schooners as soon as I finished my drink, ta tom. Wandered around Marion for a bit feeling lost then headed home, but not before I got harassed by some guy high as a kite asking me first to go with him for a drink (no, and I have BF), then if he could buy a cone off me (don't smoke it reply: You're Stupid), then if I could cast a spell to get him a girlfriend ( he'd told me a second before that he already had one), he preceded to tell me he earned shitloads of money, and that the guys he was with in gaol cast spells too. I was SO relieved when my bus finally rocked up and he wasn't on it. FREAK!!! Leave me alone. *shivers*.
Today I had an appointment with a Social worker at Centrelink which resulted in no real help at all. I'm still getting hardly any money, and have no way to get any more. So much for saving anything =S

Tomorrow I need to head to Marion to put in a resume, try and figure out what the hell to get Carl for Easter (He doesn't want chocolate) and then head to flinders for a doctor's appointment re: mole on my arm. Also about my lethargy, but they'll probably do what they did last time - blood test that reveals nothing, tell me to eat better and exercise more.. Sure, you want to give me money to eat and time to exercise????
There's also an Arch Soc general meeting if I can be assed.

Friday, I have a Dentist appointment because I realised how much my wisdom tooth has caused another tooth to move and this means that my smile is repulsive ( a fact I discovered on the weekend), so hopefully I can do something about it... I hope. (More bills, YAY *sarcasm*)

There is coffee with Carl on Thursday, I hope that makes me feel better... It's only Tuesday and I miss him like crazy. Am I getting clingy again? (Don't say a word Ed).

I have a headache that has come form trying to read and stare at a computer screen without my glasses, but I needed to vent a bit. That's why I'm a bit gruff... I feel Icky+Grrr.
