Well, just thought I'd update before I go on holiday up the river and to Broken hill, which will take me out of action for two weeks (not that I update extremely regularly :s). It's going to be an experience the houseboat... I have no idea what to expect, but it will be quite entertaining none the less.
Speaking of entertaining, I have recently become addicted to a game called age of empires (thanks Ed :P) which I have wasted many hours playing and am half way (I think) through the Egyptian campaign (damn canaanites). But the great thing, is that I have the hours to waste! YAY I have also sorted my wardrobe out, and have a bag or two of clothes to give to goodwill (or similar) and have sorted all my uni work from the last two and a half years, no mean feat considering my previous approach was stick it all in a pile and do it later... where did that reading go? *reassemble pile, then add more* Took a few hours. But now I'm organised... ish.

Went to timewarp last night which I haven't been to in so long. It was like coming home... Till the evening wore on, the Malibu and caffeine wore off, and began to see all the sleazy desperate who hadn't managed to hook up with some drunk skank. Ah, timewarp. It just wouldn't be the same without girls wearing as little as possible and the guys ooggleing them for it. ( I do NOT class myself in either of those groups though thank you!). But the music was good, they played old top 40 from when I was in highschool (yr 7) which was highly entertaining watching my friends cringe as I sang along, but it also made me feel old... timewarp is supposed to be OLD music... not old music (does that make sense?).
Also saw Clare and her new fella yesterday arvo which was doubly good seeing I haven't caught up with Clare in over 6 months! A great time was had by most-except their cutesy I-want-to-curl-up-in-a-pit-of-despair-thank-u-for-reminding-me-what-singles-miss-out-on coupledom. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for her, but it doesn't exactly give you the warmest fuzzy being reminded of how ur not with anyone. *sigh* No, I really am happy for her.
I on the other hand have given up on looking for a guy... Funny considering I have a blind date on Friday. Who knows, maybe he'll be THE NEXT ONE. Then again, he might not be and I'll be now convinced of my complete repelling power.
Have a friends 20th on Saturday too... Maybe I will update once more after the party if I find time... if not see you all in 2 weeks.
